  • Minimum Requirements:

  • This role will ensure professional duties such as providing progress reports to Agents, Clients and Sources of business. It also requires accurate and timeous management and uploading of documents and data, information management etc. Adherence to laid down processes on all related systems forms part of this role. Critical to this role are attention to detail; planning and organising and time management skills; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The incumbent should be proactive, flexible and efficient and must be able to work under pressure along with good knowledge of Microsoft office packages and related internal systems and the flexibility to support the rest of the team when needed.

General Production Supervisor

  • The General Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day production activities within the steel service centre, ensuring efficient operations, quality output, and compliance with health and safety standards. Experience with Hi-Def plasma cutting, laser cutting, and bending operations will be highly beneficial to ensure smooth workflow and technical support on the shop floor.

     Minimum Requirements
    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Trade qualification (Boilermaker, Fitter & Turner, or similar)
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a steel service centre or steel processing environment
    • 2–3 years’ supervisory experience
    • Practical exposure to: Hi-Def plasma cutting / Laser cutting / Bending / press brake operations
    • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
    • Knowledge of steel grades, tolerances, and processing requirements
    • Basic production planning and reporting
    • Computer literacy (ERP systems, Excel – basic)
